This page summarizes the process I employ to fill open seats in my courses during the drop/add period.
1. Students must submit an enrollment request for the course through the Wesleyan registration system.
2. Once drop/add begins, as seats come open, I will randomly select students from those who have submitted enrollment requests and add them to the course. I will start with the most advanced student cohort eligible for the class.
I will not admit additional students starting on the day the class meets for a second time.
Please note: In compliance with University regulations, class attendance will not be considered as part of the drop/add admission decision. Attending or not attending class will not affect your chances of being admitted one way or the other.
I will not allow auditors in any of my undergraduate courses.
